International skilled worker

INS employment letter

  • Can apply from outside or inside Canada.
  • Must score a minimum of 60 points in SINP Grid.
  • Must score a minimum of CLB 4 in language skills.
  • Must be eligible for Saskatchewan licencing if required by profession.
  • Must have job offer for a permanent full-time job in Saskatchewan obtained via SINP Job Approval Letter. Position must be in NOC Level “A”, “B” or “O or in Designated Trade in Saskatchewan.

INS Saskatchewan Express Entry

  • Can apply from outside or inside Canada.
  • Must score a minimum of 60 points in SINP Grid.
  • Language scores must be in accordance with Express Entry requirements.
  • Must be eligible for Saskatchewan licencing if required by profession.
  • Must already have profile in federal Express Entry Pool
  • Must have completed post secondary school or training equivalent to 1 year of Canadian Education.
  • Experience must NOT be in Excluded Occupation List.
  • A minimum work experience of 1 year for skilled professional in last 10 years and a minimum of 2 years for trades people in last 5 years respectively is needed. If experience. One-year work experience in Canada in the past three years.
  • Your experience must match your education and Job.
  • Must show settlement fun and plan.

INS occupation in demand

  • Can apply from outside or inside Canada.
  • Must score a minimum of 60 points in SINP Grid.
  • Must score a minimum of CLB 4 in language skills.
  • Must be eligible for Saskatchewan licencing if required by profession.
  • Job offer is not required if you are highly skilled in an in-demand occupation.
  • Must have post secondary education, training, or apprenticeship. Must have earned a diploma, certificate, or degree equivalent to Canada.
  • Must have 1 year of full-time experience in last 10 years related to your field of education and is high skill in NOC “0”, “A” or “B” and considered to be in demand at the time of application and is not on the Excluded Occupation List
  • Must show settlement fun and plan.

Workers with Saskatchewan Work Experience

Skilled Worker with Existing Work Permit

  • Must have Job offer of full-time position in NOC “A”, “B” or “O” or in Designated Trade.
  • Must have worked 6 months with the same employer (one that offering the Job), in the same career on a valid work permit.
  • CLB 4 is needed in language skills.
  • Must have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.

Semi-skilled Agriculture Worker with Existing Work Permit

  • Must have full time Job offer in the NOCs of: –

NOC 8431: General Farm Worker.

NOC 8432: Nursery and Greenhouse Worker.

  • Must have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.
  • Must have worked 6 months with the same employer (one that offering the Job), in the same career on a valid work permit.
  • Your work permit must be for:

Seasonal Agriculture Worker Program.

International Experience Canada.

Temporary Foreign Worker Program.

  • Must have completed high school equivalent to Canadian standards.
  • CLB 4 is needed in language skills if the occupation is in NOC C

Health Professionals

  • Health Care professional has 3 streams that they can apply SINP under. All 3 stream has different requirements such has what study, exams, or certification you need to fall under appropriate health care professional title. You can apply SINP as

Physicians, Nurses or Other Health Professions.

Students

  • Must have completed at least 1 year of Canadian Certificate, Diploma, or a Degree.
  • Must have post graduate work permit.
  • Must have work experience of at least 6 months or 780 hours on PGWP in a job that is related to the field of your studies.
  • Must have a full-time job offer in NOC “A”, “B”, “O” and is in your field of studies from a Saskatchewan employer.
  • Must have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.

If you are a student who graduated from a Saskatchewan institute you must meet all the above requirement except your work experience requirement.

  • Saskatchewan graduate’s work experience does not necessarily have to be on PGWP. Experience gained during your Co-op terms, Graduate Fellowship, on campus and off campus is also eligible.

Hospitality Sector Project

  • Must already be working in Saskatchewan on a valid work permit.
  • Must have a work permit obtained by LMIA for NOCs

Food/Beverage Server (NOC 6513).

Food Counter Attendant/Kitchen Helper (NOC 6711).

Housekeeping/Cleaning Staff (NOC 6731)

  • Must have finished grade 12 at least (equivalent to Canadian standards).
  • Employer must be approved by SINP
  • Employee must not work for the employer until employer gets SINP approved.
  • Must have worked for at least six months for the employer offering the job.
  • The Job offer must be from approved Saskatchewan Hospitality employer
  • Must have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.

Long-Haul Truck Drivers

  • Must have a minimum of 6-month experience on LMIA based work permit with the same employer offering the Job.
  • Must have a Class 1 licence.
  • Must have a minimum of CLB 4
  • Must have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter

Entrepreneur EOI System

This program encourages potential entrepreneurs to invest in Saskatchewan and start their business. The application starts with showing Expression of Interest to settle and invest in Saskatchewan. The candidates are awarded points according to the Expression of Interest Points Grid System. The highest score candidates will be invited to apply and may get awarded the provincial nomination.   • Must have net worth of a minimum of CAD $500,000.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience of managing or owning a business in last 10 years.
  • Must be ready to invest a minimum of CAD $300,000 in Regina or Saskatoon or a minimum of CAD $200,000 in other communities of Saskatchewan.

International Graduate Entrepreneur

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have graduated from a Saskatchewan institute with a diploma or a degree of at least 2 years.
  • Must Possess PGWP with a validity of at least 2 years remaining.
  • Must have a minimum of CLB 7 in language test.
  • Must have been running day to day operation from last 1 year with at least 33% of ownership.
  • Business must be generation a minimum required revenue.
  • Sign a BPA

Farm Owner and Operator

This category is open for people related to farming background move and settle in Saskatchewan. Applicants should be interested in buying and running a farm. They must have relevant experience, capital to invest and assets to show the net worth. Within this program there is a stream called Young Farmer Stream.
